Mood: Puzzled
Okay, not as productive as last weekend, but I was sick all week with a miserable cold and spent most of my writing time pottering around editing another story.
I have added another 1300+ words to Deeper Than Bone and I enjoyed writing the scene, but unfortunately the humorous tone doesn’t mesh with the rest of the story. So I’m undecided about the scene’s future. It’s a nice break in tension, has some good lines and it complicates Cat’s life, enmeshing her further in the mess, but it feels off. Maybe it’s an editing fix.
