Big thanks to Babette James for letting me crash on her blog today. If you don’t know, Babette writes contemporary romance. So do I. For me the hardest part of contemporary romance is…it’s contemporary romance.
There’s no murderer on the loose after your heroine, no crazy terrorist looking for revenge against your hero.
It’s just contemporary romance. All emotions and feelings and stuff. Do you know how much the brothers out of the Roughnecks series hate talking about their feelings? They don’t even call them feelings. They are feelings. Eww!
Practically cooties for these guys I tell ya. They do—eventually—get better about sharing their feelings, but they take baby steps to get there. Itty, bitty baby steps.
Leave me a comment! How are you and feelings? Do you like to share? Do they have icky cooties like my Iverson boys think they do? I’ll let random.org pick a winner to get Ruth J. Hartman’s Better Than Catnip. Ruth, thank you so much for donating to my tour. Learn more about Ruth from her website, Twitter and Facebook.

Rough Ride Blurb
You do for family, no matter what. Lane Iverson knows that better than anyone. Harboring a secret about his mother’s death, Lane is counting the days until he finishes helping his brothers with some work and can head back to his hiding hole hours away. As long as he doesn’t have to face his three brothers every day, the guilt is easier to carry.
There is only one thing that can risk his plan. All of five foot tall with these deep eyes and a voice that shudders through him. The completely addicting, Gretchen Jones. She’s been watching him the entire time he’s been in town. With courage from her friends behind her, she confronts what she wants. To her surprise, that’s the easy part. Keeping her heart protected when she knows he’ll be leaving? Not so easy, but her only choice.

Fun post. I don’t really like to share feelings.
I don’t care for it too much either bn! thanks for stopping by!
Yes I share feelings all the time and am sometimes dissapointed when others are not honestly sharing back…I ♥ Ruth’s dental theme books and would love to win a Cat theme for a change! Thanks for the chance. ☺ But I shared/tweeted it too!
