Here are thirteen of the many books I really enjoyed reading over the past year:

  • Myla by Moonlight by Inez Kelly (&  I’m waiting with bated breath for Bryton’s story!)
  • Ilfayne’s Bane by Julia Knight
  • The Mage by Jean Johnson
  • Lover Avenged by J.R. Ward
  • A Duke of Her Own by Eloisa James
  • Atlantis Unmasked by Alyssa Day
  • Hidden Currents by Christine Feehan
  • In Over Her Head by Judy Fennell
  • Dark Lover by Brenda Joyce
  • Killer Secrets by Lora Leigh
  • Spell of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning
  • Running Hot by Jayne Ann Krentz
  • Night Lost by Lynn Viehl

What was a favorite read of yours this year?

  1. Nora Roberts Blood Brothers Trilogy. It’s the first I’ve read of her and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m reading a YA novel titled ‘Speak’ It’s very different the way it’s laid out, but it is a great read so far.

Happy Reading & Happy New Year!

  2. Great list. I’ve read so many this year, but Victoria Dahl’s contemporaries (Start Me Up, Talk Me Down, Lead Me On). The Goddess of the Hunt by Tessa Dare was excellent – and I don’t normally like historicals. There were several others, but the names are escaping me at present.

  3. I loved “Myla By Moonlight”. I think my favorite read this year had to be “Taking Liberty” by Jodi Redford. Excellent Sci Fi Romance.

  4. Some great reads on your list. One book that sticks in my mind is Lisa Kleypas’s Smooth-Talking Stranger. I’d never read her contemporaries and immediately went out to buy her earlier ones. Happy New Year!

  5. I’m buying Myla for my New Year’s present 🙂

I also enjoyed Lover Avenged and Hidden Currents. I bought Street Game yesterday and I’m hoping it’s as good as the rest of the Ghostwalkers.

I liked Running Hot, but I finished Fired Up yesterday, and I think I like that one a bit better.

So much good stuff on your list to catch up on, too. Thank you for sharing!
