Here’s six sentences from my current work in progress, Love Burns, a contemporary romance:

He blanketed her against the wall, all heavy languid strength. His unbroken kiss, rich and deep, leached away the strain of the day, wrapping her in a lovely rising tension.
She shut her eyes and succumbed to the sensual haze. He possessed a magician’s touch with those big hands, gentle, slow, and intense. Yes, oh, yes, she’d had far too much to drink today, but to be touched with such tenderness, to be kissed and held. . .
Yes, this was wrong, but it had been so long—
