Blog Hop, Clear As Day

Romancing Your E-Reader Book Bash

Welcome readers. Did you find a new e-reader under the tree? Well, have we got a sweet deal for you.

22 Authors – 27 E-book Romances – Two Grand Prize Winners!

Romancing Your e-Reader Book Bash

That’s right. Two lucky winners will be filling their new toys with free romance e-books. First prize 15 titles. Second prize 12 titles. How do I win, you ask? Simple. The contributing authors have posted the blurb from their book at their websites (links below) and have asked a question about the blurb. Answer the question in a comment at each site. Each question answered is another entry toward one of the two grand prizes. And that’s not all. Many of the hops along the way are offering individual prizes as well. So be sure to visit as many as you can.

Grand prize winners will be announced on the 30th.

My contribution to the Grand Prize is my sweetly scorching contemporary romance, Clear As Day.

In addition, one lucky commenter on my blog will win a package of goodies, including a set of Romance Trading cards.

Contemporary Romance, Romance, Summer Romance, Vacation Romance

What’s a girl to do when her summer lover wants forever?

Haunted by dark memories of her parents’ volatile marriage, artist Kay Browning keeps her heart locked behind a free-spirit facade and contents herself with the comfortable affair she has every summer with easygoing photographer Nate Quinn.

The only trouble with her plan? This summer Nate’s come to Lake Mohave to claim the lover he can’t let go. He’s done with the endless traveling and settling for temporary homes and temporary loves. Kay’s always been more than just a vacation fling, and now he must convince this woman, who sees love as a course to certain heartbreak, to take that leap of faith and learn how safe love with the right man can be.

You can read Chapter One here.

Here’s my question:

Kay and Nate vacation together every year at Lake Mojave. Where is your favorite vacation spot and what do you love about it?

Don’t forget to leave your answer in the comments, then head on off to check out the rest of the blurbs and more chances to win. Good luck and happy reading.

  1. Where is your favorite vacation spot and what do you love about it?

The Beach. I love hearing the seagulls squaking and crashing of the waves and fresh smells.. (and its home to me since I was born and raised until I was 12 in Northern Jersey)

  2. Favorite place I’ve been: Alaska, but if we’re talking about annual trips, I’d have to say Montana. I go there every year to visit my mum, take in a rodeo, derby, and hit the town fair. It’s a good time. 🙂 tchevrestt(at)yahoo.com

  3. Sounds like a great story! My favorite vacation is attending one of our local (Minneapolis area) science fiction/fantasy conventions. It involves spending a long weekend in a hotel, with lots of people who share my interests, art shows, panel discussions, board games, costumes – a self-contained carnival.

  4. Italy, for sure. Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como. I could go back a hundred times and still be charmed by Italy. Thanks for asking Babette. Made me think of wine and relaxation!

  5. I love to visit Jamaica! The place is beautiful and the people are wonderful. I’ve been there 6 times, and I’ll be back!

  6. My favorite vacation spot is a church camp that I attended as a child & like to go back to during their end of the season family camp, when I can get a group of friends to go with me. Not only is it in a beautiful location, but there are lots of daily activities, no cooking or dish washing is required & I always make a new friend.

  7. My favorite vacation spot is anywhere warm. I live in the Midwest and looking outside at all the snow and the cold, frigid wind makes me want to be lying on a beach somewhere. Of course my vacation has to have my family along at least for most of it. A day or two in solitude on the beach would be heavenly.

  8. And the Romancing Your E-Reader Book Bash winners are!

First Grand Prize of 17 titles: Melissa Snark (commenter here)
Second Grand Prize of 12 titles: Hilary (commenter at Denice Moncrief’s blog)

And the winner of my goodie package here is Dani-Lyn Alexander.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks for all the wonderful vacation spot comments! Now I really want to take a vacation 🙂

  9. Pensacola Beach! My son is a Marine and he is stationed at NAS Pensacola. We got to take our 3 boys on their first family vacation there this year for 10 days and was able to see our Marine and spend time with him! Next big vacation is to take the boys to Alaska in a few years.

I love comments!
