Love Burns, Six Sentence Sunday

Six Sentence Sunday 4

Here’s another six sentences from my current work in progress, Love Burns, a contemporary romance:

Stop, let him play. This is what you’ve craved: to play, to be alive, to be wanted, to feel again.

Carefully following the rules had brought her to heartbreak. Breaking the rules couldn’t be any worse.

Right?
