Sigh. And I’m the teacher. . .

Things have been hectic lately and will be for a bit with the start of the new school year. I still haven’t quite got my writing or blogging grooves back after all the computer troubles in August. I have been editing Missing Magic and I’m tinkering with an idea for a new story which I may do for National Novel Writing Month in November.

Have a happy and safe Labor Day!

Thursday Thirteen – Time for Dessert

9 Jul

strawberrysandIcecreambyeXis5480-medI was wandering around in the kitchen wanting something munchable and fattening. I settled for an apple, but I was left thinking about my favorite desserts:

  1. Lemon meringue pie
  2. Crème brûlée
  3. Banana chiffon cake
  4. Key lime pie
  5. Tiramisu
  6. Strawberry shortcake
  7. Pecan pie
  8. Mango ice cream
  9. Baklava
  10. Apple pie
  11. Mincemeat pie
  12. Cannoli
  13. Chocolate mousse

I have to say, that vanilla ice cream with strawberries looks awfully good, too.

What’s your favorite dessert?
