Welcome! As part of my celebration for the release of Clear As Day this week, I’m taking part in the Hoppy Easter Blog Hop, coordinated by Drea Becraft, where your comment here on this post between April 6th and 8th could win you an eBook copy of Clear As Day.
Easter conjures up many happy memories. Get-togethers with family. Egg hunts. Special breakfasts, church brunches, family dinners, and tasty desserts. My husband made Easter doubly special for me because that’s when he first proposed, casually, over the Easter dinner I’d made him, by asking who’d I’d like in the wedding party. (He did follow this up with a formal and completely romantic proposal on one knee on the beach that summer.)
And Easter is a time of so many sweet treats to fill a child’s Easter basket or a candy dish. Jelly beans and gum drops of all flavors add their dashes of color. Chocolate is always a favorite, in bunnies and in eggs, white, milk and dark, hollow or filled with cream. I admit I can pass on milk chocolate, but I have no resistance when it comes to dark chocolate. Marshmallow is another favorite of mine and I confess I used to filch a Peep or two from my brother’s Easter basket.
What is your favorite Easter memory or favorite Easter treat?
Leave a comment on this post and you’ll go in the drawing to win an eBook copy of Clear As Day.
That’s it! After you do that, click the Hoppy Easter image to go to the main hop page where you’ll find over 250 authors, all giving away great prizes, hop over to another author and keep going for more chances to win. Good luck!
Contest starts April 6, 2012 and ends April 8, 2012 at midnight. I’ll announce my winner the morning of the 10th.
Wishing you a happy and blessed Easter!
